Album containing twenty-six cartes de visite of soldiers from the 20th, 24th, 44th, and 45th Massachusetts Infantry regiments of the Civil War. Includes a loose clipping of a poem memorializing the death of a soldier in 1863. Photographers include James Wallace Black, James Adams Whipple, Black & Batchelder, and Silsbee, Case, & Co., among others. Most of the photographs are identified.
